Top 10 Series that Deserve a Sequel

4. Mega Man Legends

Fans of the Mega Man Legends games have really had a depressing ride over the years. Mega Man Legends 2 for the PlayStation 1 ended with a big cliffhanger, leaving players wondering what will become of Volnutt. So when Capcom announced that, many years later, they were going to release Mega Man Legends 3 on the Nintendo 3DS, avid fans of the side-series were more than excited.

As development went on, fans were given the reins to help make many choices about the game's development in the form of popular votes. Those voting got to choose which designs they liked the most, and the ones with the most votes would make it into the final game. It was a great idea to get fans involved in the sequel they were highly anticipating.

Then, Capcom canned the game. The reason they stated was that there wasn't enough fan input. Whether or not that's true is… disputable, of course, but the fact remains that there is still a sizable fanbase wanting to see the conclusion of Legend's tale. Unfortunately, now that Mega Man's creator has left Capcom and created his studio, it's unlikely Mega Man Legends 3 will see the light of day, but we can always hope that the Blue Bomber's parent company might come to their senses and restart development on the title.
