Chapter 3: The Bitlands

Now that the heroes have used Slim's ability to find the heart pillar, they can now use it to open the door to the next world. Now that the door is open, the heroes can now proceed forward, into the new world of The Bitlands.

3-1: When Geeks Attack
When the heroes arrive in the new world, a chameleon named Francis appears out of no-where. He admires Tippi; as she is a rare pixl & kidnaps her! Behind a near bush a pixl named Barry appears, telling the heroes that Francis has taken Tippi to his castle. He also mentions if the heroes manage to save Tippi, they should come back & visit him. The player must make their way through the level, eventually falling inbetween 2 red pipes & coming across an underground area which is a replica from Super Mario Bros's level 1-2. When the player reaches the end of this underground area, do not enter the pipe. Instead switch to 3D & jump up the stairs until you find 3 green pipes. Entering the middle will take you to where you want to be, while the others will offer rewards. Once you enter the middle pipe, Run to the right until you come across a castle which you cannot jump over. Use Boomer next to the red cross to blow the castle up. Bowser will appear & fight you. To defeat Bowser use Boomer's bombs to explode next to Bowser. He will admit defeat, but is persuaded by Peach to join the team. Boswer can breathe fire & deals double damage; quadruple with Boomer. Mario, Peach, Bowser, Thoreau, Boomer & Slim all progress onto the next level.

3-2: Bloops Ahoy
The heroes have now arrived to a waterworld. Using Bowser (as it is easier) you can kill enemies with his fire breathe when they get close. Make your way through the area until you see 6 yellow poles. Remember these, as you will need to do something with them later. Flip into 3D & enter the pipe. Continue through the next area (skip the first opening) until you see an opening. It will have a diagram showing 6 yellow poles on it; with some lower to the ground than others. Refer to this diagram later. Go back to the earlier opening to find a pipe. Go inside & in the new area enter the nearby door. In the new room, the door will lock. Defeat all the enemies in the room to make a chest appear. Open it, releasing Thudley, the ground-pounding pixl. He will join the heroes' team. He can be used to ground-pound the yellow pole; opening the door. Now return to the diagram of the yellow poles & remember it. Go back to the room with the 6 yellow poles & ground-pound each as the diagram says. The door in the centre will open. In the next room, navigate your way past the enemies (or defeat them) until you stop. A giant blooper will appear, surrounding you. Attack its red tentacle, as attacking the other does nothing. Once you have attacked its red tentacle enough, it will fall to the ground. You can now proceed & complete the level.

3-3: Up, Up and a Tree
The heroes have now arrived at a giant tree, which they must climb in order to get to Fort Francis. Using Peach to float & Mario to discover 3D secrets, the player must climb the tree & burn the locked door at the top using Bowser. The player now must enter rooms & hit switches in order to make blue or pink platforms appear or disappear. The player will need to make good use of all 6 pixls; as all of them must be used in order to complete certain objectives & hit certain switches. When the player reaches the top, they will hit a switch that makes a door appear at the very top of the tree. Climb back down (while staying inside & use the pipe to get up to the very top. Enter the door to be outside again. Dimentio will appear & fight the player. He will sometimes create a copy of himself in the battles. Choose 1 to attack & hope for the best. Using Bowser is an effective way to defeat Dimentio as he deals double damage. On the other hand, Peach is useful because she can easily block attacks. Once Dimentio is defeated, jump to the top of the tree. There will be white & red wind blowing past. When red wind appears, jump on it & it will be like a platform. When you see a pipe, jump off & onto the pipe, then enter it. You can now finish the level.

3-4: The Battle of Fort Francis
The heroes have now arrived at Fort Francis, where Barry informed the heroes Tippi would be. The player must switch into 3D & enter a pipe outside to retrieve the key to unlock the locked door. Inside the room use Thoreau to grab the block & jump up to the switch. This will award you with the key. Now the player can enter Fort Francis. In the first room, flip into 3D & jump behind the right door. There will be a pipe which you must enter. Inside, proceed forward, jumping up onto the section above. Read the sign to find the codes to 2 secret rooms (2323, right & 2828, left). Proceed ahead & use Thudley to ground-pound a switch to free a pixl. She realises her & the heroes have the same things in common so Carrie the hovering-platform pixl joins the team. Return to the first room using Carrie's power & enter the door. In the room after the next, head to the right wall & switch to 3D. Jump up the stairs & enter the door on your left. In the next room use Boomer or Thudley near the doors on the roof to knock them down. Entering the right door will allow you to use Carrie to get over some spikes & into a room with a SecurityMeow. Answer all its questions true & you will be allowed inside. Inside is 1 of the 2 keys needed to rescue Tippi. Go back to the left door & go inside. In this new room use Peach to float across, then Mario to climb the stairs. Enter the door above.This will take you outside, where you will need to use Thoreau to grab an enemy & hit the switch. The rest of the passage will be built. Inside the new room will be the 2nd key to rescue Tippi. Go back to the room with the giant cat door & unlock both sides using Peach. Answer all its questions with true. When you enter, Francis will ask Peach questions. No matter how you answer them you will end up fighting Francis. He will occasionally become invisible & then flash light onto the screen. Using Bowser with Boomer or Thudley is the most effective way to attack Francis, however using Thoreau to throw Francis works well too. Once the heroes defeat Francis, he flees. Tippi is freed & due to how happy & thankful Tippi is for the heroes saving her, the happiness creates the 4th pure heart!

Interlude:
Back at Bleck's castle, when Dimentio returns, he mentions that the heroes may be able to defeat Bleck. Bleck ignores this, as he believes he is unstoppable. Bleck announces that a new minion would be taking care of the heroes. The minions leave & Nastasia tries to get Bleck to reconsider going through with the plan. Bleck disagrees with Nastasia's idea & says he has come too far to stop now. When they both leave, it turns out Dimentio has listening to their conversation, but doesn't worry because he has his own projects to work on.
