Town Building Guide

The key to progressing in The Elder Scrolls: Blades is to constantly upgrade your town so you attract new citizens. The following Town Building Guide will explain the basics of constructing different buildings in your town, upgrading them, increasing your Prestige, and unlocking new features. Most of the buildings you can construct when you level up your town are available as soon as you have the required resources so it is possible with a bit of grinding to have access to these facilities early in the game.

Unlock Buildings

In The Elder Scrolls: Blades your town represents the central hub for everything that is happening in the game. As you progress through the game new buildings become unlocked which when placed offer new features and facilities. The buildings, the level they become unlocked, and their purpose are listed below.

Blacksmith (Town Level 1)

• Shop (Buy, Sell and Salvage)

• Craft (Craft new items)

• Temper (Enhance current items)

• Repair (Repairs gear)

Alchemy Laboratory (Town Level 2)

• Purchase Potions and Poisons

• Craft Potions and Poisons

Workshop (Town Level 3)

• Purchase Decoration Items

• Craft Decoration Items

Enchanters Tower (Town Level 4)

• Sells Tempering, Enchanting and Alchemy Materials

• Allows Enchanting

Prestige

Prestige represents the overall level of your town. Once its Prestige reaches a certain amount your town will increase in level. It is important that you increase the level of your town as doing so will enable you to access a variety of bonuses and benefits that will help you to expand. The Prestige you earn will increase with each building you place in your town. Basically, the bigger the building, the more Presige you earn.

Town Upgrades

As your Prestige increases and your town gains new levels it will enable you to unlock new things. Sometimes when you unlock a building you will be given a special premium package that gives you the opportunity to instantly purchase enough resources to create the building you just unlocked. To upgrade a building you simply have to interact with it and select 'Upgrade'. It is here where you will also be able to change the style or upgrade the functionality of that building. The list below is a breakdown what becomes available in your town as you progress and level up your Prestige.

Town Level 2

• Alchemy Laboratory

• Stone Building Style

• Shops can be upgraded to level 2

Town Level 3

• Workshop

• Shops can be upgraded to level 3

Town Level 4

• Enchanters Tower

• Shops can be upgraded to level 4

Town Level 5

• Castle Building Style Unlocked

• Shops can be upgraded to level 5
