You can access these options by interacting with your castle's crystal ball, located beside the throne. This gives you access to the game’s wireless and Amiibo features.
Update Data: Connects to the internet to upload and retrieve the most recent activities in your castle like visits, feedbacks, gifts from other players, and more.
Visit Castles: You can visit other players’ castles using any method listed below
- Recommendations: Visit a recommended castle
- Recently updated: Visit a recently updated castle
- Calling Cards: Visit a castle via calling card acquired from another player
- Castle Address: Visit a castle based on the castle’s address
- Rankings: Visit a high-ranking castle
- Castle Name: Search a castle by its name
- Friend: Visit a friend’s castle.
Inbox: Retrieve your received feedback and bonuses
- Streetpass Results: Check your streetpass results and interactions
- Feedback: View your received feedback
- Accessories: Retrieve accessories sent to you by other players
- Bond Units: Check on your bond units.
- Buildings: Check on the buildings your visitors used
- Rewards: Receive bonuses for interacting with other players. (Battle Bonuses or Visit Bonuses)
Streetpass Team: This option allows you to select your best fighters and set them as your default defenders when your castle is attacked.
Place Defenders: Manually set the positions of your selected defendersCheck Defenders: Enter a mock battle to test your defender’s capabilityAuto-Place DefendersEdit Messages: Customize the dialogue the other players will seeEdit Card: Modify your calling card.
Wireless: Communicate online/offline or start a wireless battle. You can do this with another Fire Emblem Fates player nearby by connecting through local wireless network. This is important if you want to obtain the card of a player who’s not in your friends list. Once you’ve visited a castle once, you have to wait for 24 hours before you can visit it again.
Note: When visiting another castle, you can give the other player’s avatar with an accessory. This is just a copy so the accessory you gave will still remain in your possession.
- Parley – Invite another player to your castle or have them invite you over
- Battle – Save your data and begin a wireless battle.
Amiibo: Tap a Fire Emblem character amiibo and upload the data to your new 3DS.
Bonuses: Receive bonuses from purchasing additional paths. If you have the Special Edition cartridge, you’ll be able to receive all bonuses that’s meant for other paths that were sold separately.

Settings: Change the communication settings
- Streetpass: Enable/Disable this option
- SpotPass: Enable/Disable this option
- Gameplay-Data Recording: Enabling/Disable sharing your gameplay information to Nintendo.
- Parley Interaction: Activate/Deactivate data exchange during parley
- Castle Address: Display your castle address. You can only get a valid castle address after updating your data from the internet.
Actually you only get two of each item from the bonuses section. The numbers on the right just tell you how many paths you must have purchased (e.g., Birthright, Conquest, Revelation) in order to receive that reward.
