The area is filled with thick fog which will limit your visibility. Have some non-healer units bring torches then give high-mobility units chest keys. Reinforcements will also arrive at certain points so move your units close together so they don’t get picked off.

This Map’s boss is called The Immovable. This sacred Beast has 9 shields you’ll need to break in order to deal full Damage to it. Save your Gambits for your fight against it and make sure you have a lot of units, if not, all of your units surrounding it to make follow up attacks and Gambit Boosts. Consider bringing Flayn and/or Seteth and have them participate in the attack later for a special dialogue which can shed more light about their identities.

There are three paths you can take in this Map. The central and eastern paths will allow you to reach three Chests before reaching The Immovable’s platform. If your units are strong enough, you can even cover all paths. Start off by having your torch-bearers spread out and use their torches to reveal nearby enemies from your starting position. As Linhardt points out, the enemies are illusions. Finding and defeating the hidden summoners will stop enemy reinforcements from constantly appearing.

Guide Image

Start off by lighting up the spaces near your starting point. The torches’ illumination will last for about 3 turns so you don’t need to use them every turn. Once the immediate enemies are revealed, clean them up and continue moving along the path. Make sure for your groups to have dedicated healers and melee units to act as bait for surprise attacks. Take the central path and loot the Short Axe from the first chest near your starting point.

Continue moving forward, with your melee units leading the way. Once you’ve reached the middle of the Map, you can divide your forces once again so that some of them may approach the Immovable from the central stairs while the others reach the chest to the northeast corner and reach the boss from the eastern flank. Loot the Extra Large Bullion from the chest in one of the smaller platforms to the northeast.

Continue moving your forces. If some of your units have the boss within their Attack Range, have them wait until you get all your other units within Range so you can connect your attacks. Loot the chest on the northeast corner of the Map to get an Umbral Steel x1. Position your units around The Immovable and prepare for breaking its shields.

Guide Image

The Immovable’s shields have very effective protection against any type of attack so you’ll rely heavily on Gambits to break these. Completely breaking The Immovable’s armor will award you with Umbral Steel X10. It also has special lines when attacking it with Leonie, Byleth, Flayn, and Seteth. Focus your attacks on it to whittle down its multiple HP bars until you defeat it.

After the battle and a brief dialogue for completing its trial, The Immovable will deem you worthy of its sacred weapon and the mission will be complete. You'll get the sacred bow, The Inexhaustible. This weapon restores HP every turn and allows the wielder to attack twice. Hanneman and Bernadetta are Crest of Indech bearers, which makes them the ideal candidates to effectively wield this weapon. Between the two, Bernadetta is of course the best one to use the weapon to its full potential because of her expertise with bows.
