Beam Burst Search

Walkthrough: After coming off the elevator into Area 3, go through the room to come across this area's Chozo Seal. If you take notice of it, you'll see that you must defeat ten different Metroids for Area 3. From here, use your Spider Ball across the ceiling to avoid the pit of purple lava. After making it out of that room, run until you find the Save Station.

Directly below said Station is an inactive door, so head up instead. Mechanical Turrets will impede your path when you do, but unfortunately, you cannot defeat them just yet. Avoid them for now, and keep going until you reach the giant flower. Turn around right after you do reach this point, breaking the weak spots of the ceiling above. Spider Ball over the flora and enter the Chozo Statue to gain your next Aeion Ability, the Beam Burst. This ability will finally allow you to destroy giant flowers, as well as defeated Mechanical Turrets and Eggs.
