Coins – enemies drop coins when they are defeated. You may use these coins to build or upgrade your towers.

End of Path – do not let enemy units breach or get past this border – otherwise you’ll lose life points (hearts).

Call Wave Button – calling the next wave fully heals your troops. Call the wave before the timer fills up and you’ll receive coin bonus as well.

Flying Enemies (icon) - signifies that the concluding wave of enemies coming from this segment of the map will include flying enemies. Flying enemies cannot be blocked by units on the ground, and can only be hit by certain towers.

Burn – does damage over time. Armored units have some protection against burn.

Cloak – a cloaked unit (usually bandits, spawning out as special objectives) invisible to ranged attacks. It makes the unit very sneaky and must be dealt with melee/ground units or by specifically attacking it by pointing your Heroes towards its path.

Haste – haste lends plenty of help to affected units as it significantly increases their attack and movement speed.

Poison – poisoned units lose health over time. Although poison never kills a unit, it can bring any affected units’ HP down to 1.

Slow – slow makes a unit attack and move at a reduced speed.

Stun – a stunned character does not attack or move until they regain their senses.

Bleed – a nasty cut that deals damage over time while the character moves. It does not render damage to units that are stopped or engaged in combat.

Cold – units affected by the cold de-buff basically renders them to move/walk slower.

Terror – units who are terrified run back the way they came.

Curse – Those who are cursed are helpless in battle – basically rendering them unable to attack until the curse had faded.

Armor – Armored characters take less damage from physical (melee) attacks, but are still susceptible to magic attacks.

Challenges – each level contains a challenge that awards (additional) gold when successfully completed.

Axe Thrower – a Viking who excels at throwing axes with extreme accuracy.

Dragon’s Lair – A newly hatched dragon ready to burn anything running down its path.

Mead Hall – the gathering place of Viking warriors ready to defend their home.

Thor Tower – a shrine dedicated to Thor, the lightning bringer.
