The Chaos Gambit

After completing The Hundred Hands of Chaos, you’ll get a message from the Coon to head back to the Coon Lair. He’ll also give you the new password to the lair (No Girls Allowed). Sit on the chair to start the cutscene. Follow Butters and leave the lair. Head over to his house, a short distance away from the lair.

Since you also have Butters’ Garage Key, you can now open their garage and loot Paladin Butters’ Circlet and some materials. There’s also a Yaoi art piece behind the calendar in the garage so pop it to make it fall on the floor then pick it up to get the yaoi art titled “Fleeting Embrace”. Once done, head inside the house and follow Butters to his room. After the scene, you’ll be grounded with Butters in his room.

The objective will be updated. Now, you’ll have to find a way escape the room. First, grab the Flying Minion schematics by the desk. Then, you’ll have to collect three main components as follows:

• Super Hero Figurine’s Cape - Get the Minion Cape from the figurine in front of the drawer to the lower-right corner of the screen.
• Rocket Ship Foil - Pop the toy rocket hanging above Butter’s bed to make it fall to the bed. Move the step ladder to the bed to access it.
• Hamster - Get the Minion Test Pilot from the hamster case on top of the drawer by the window. Move the step ladder to access it.

After getting the components, open the Crafting App and create the Flying Minion. Next, aim for the electrical panel connected to the electronic lock and pop it open. Now hover the cursor above the electric wiring (if it doesn’t open the Buddy Power option, exit Inspection Mode and activate it again) and select the Hamster option. Press and hold the spacebar to activate it. After loading the flying minion, press and hold the S and down arrow keys. Now to time it right, while you’re holding S and down, glide your fingers to the W and up arrow key so the charge doesn’t get “released”. When done correctly, this should launch the flying minion to the electric panel, short-circuiting it and opening the door. Leave the room and head downstairs to fight Butter’s Dad. From hereon, you should be able to use this buddy power to solve other puzzles requiring this ability.

In this battle, you’ll be facing Butter’s Dad alone. As soon as the battle starts, he will ground everyone except the New Kid. Grounded allies won’t be able to join the fight until you unground them. To do this, simply use the Unground power that will replace your Ultimate Attack temporarily for this battle. This battle will be a lot easier if you already have the Time Fart: Summon ability since your past self can also help ungrounding your allies instead of relying on the New Kid alone. Prioritize ungrounding your allies first before attacking Butters’ Dad.

Butters’ Dad has really high HP but has only two moves; one of them is an ordinary melee attack and another one for Grounding again which covers a wide area. On top of being unable to move, grounded allies will also have lowered HP. Once all team mates can move, it will be easy to whittle down the massive HP pool of Butters’ dad. He will be able to use Grounding again when he’s almost defeated so make sure to interrupt him with a timefart if you have it already available. After the battle, you’ll get a few scrap materials, $4.19, and 100 EXP. Leave the house and you’ll unlock Professor Chaos as a combat buddy.

Next, head to Dark Meadows (you can use the fast-travel point there if you already unlocked it) and enter Token’s house. You should find the entrance to the Freedom Pals base under the stairs. Like before, pop the electrical panel open and use the Haywire buddy power to short circuit the wiring and unlock the door. Enter the base for a cutscene. Shortly after, the mission will be complete.
