Animals, Pets, and Mounts List

Taking care of animals in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is one of the ways that you can grow your farm. Similar to growing different kinds of Crops, you can take care of animals and they can provide you with products in return. Some animals are also kept as pets, and you’ll also have some animals that you can ride.

In this list, we’ll provide you with the different animals you can raise on your farm. Growing your animals and making sure they’re happy will be beneficial to you since they will give you better products in return as well.

Animal List

When starting out in your farm, you’ll notice that there’s a wild chicken roaming around. After repairing the dilapidated coop, you’ll have a facility that you can use to raise some animals after you have tamed them. You’ll then be able to repair other facilities that can house bigger animals as well. Chickens, Cows, etc. are livestock that provide you with good products.

This animal list provides you with the different livestock animals and their corresponding products. Remember, you must repair specific facilities before being able to tame them. Some animals are also available after specific events.

Pet List

Pets are animals that can live with you on your home. You can also use the Leash tool in order to take them out for a walk. In order to have a pet, you will need to upgrade your tent into a log cabin first. This will also unlock the kitchen and bath for you.

Once you have the cabin, you can purchase pets from the Hoof House and talk to Bridget. Patricia will be the one who’ll provide you with the Leash.

Mounts List

Mounts are animals that you can ride on, this will help you cover distances much faster since they can provide higher speeds than running around. As you may know, time in the game goes faster and you’ll want to maximize the tasks that you have each day.

Having a mount will be helpful since you’ll be able to go to a specific Location much faster. As you unlock more locations in your farm, you’ll want to use your mount in order to reach the areas that are farther from your cabin as well.
