In Story of Season: Pioneers of Olive Town, being able to do your work and develop your farm will require you some different tools in your disposal. Since the farm that you have inherited was reclaimed by nature, you’ll have to take it up to yourself and restore it back to its glory.
One of the tools that you’re able to get in this game is the Hammer. This tool is something you’ll need to use in order to smash hard objects such as Rocks, or perhaps cracks on the wall. In this guide, we’ll discuss how you can get it in the game, as well as its functions and possible upgrades. So, let’s get started and check more about this tool.
You’ll notice that your farm is covered with different kinds of objects, and these include huge Rocks. In order to get the Hammer tool in the game, you’ll be provided with your first set of items by Victor once you start off in Olive Town. Three tools will be provided to you on your first day and this includes the Hammer.
Once you have received your tools, they’ll be placed in your tool bagwhich can be accessed in your inventory. You can then pull out the needed tools you’ll be using and place them in your inventory. If you don’t need to use the tools at the moment, you can place them back into the tool bag in order to have extra space for other items.
So, what are the main functions of the Hammer? One of the first tasks that you’re provided in the game is for you to expand on your land by clearing it. This means that you’ll have to remove Trees, Rocks, and grass that has covered up your farm. The Hammer is used for removing the huge rocks by smashing it. You can also use the Hammer on the mines to break down cracks on the wall, or perhaps hitting enemies on the head with it.
While using a Hammer, you can stand in front of a huge rock and start breaking it. You’ll hit the rock multiple times with your Hammer and use up stamina. The same applies for cracks on the wall while descending through the mines. The materials you get can be used for creating items such as stone fences, and perhaps you’ll be able to get Ores which can be processed through makers in order for you to get ingots.
