Welcome to our comprehensive, collectible-intensive, spoiler-free walkthrough. As a general note, make it a habit to manually save often especially if you’re not relying on guides when playing, so you can always go back to “point-of-no return” portions of the game to collect various collectibles. In this playthrough, we have enabled High Contrast Mode and Enhanced Listening so don’t get confused if you see different features in the screenshots we’ll feature in this guide. You can modify these settings anytime from the Options menu. 

Return to the Coast

Pick up the wooden plank and place it over the gap so you can use it as a footbridge. Make your way down to the area with the container vans. There are a lot of seraphites here so move past them or eliminate all of them if you want. Make your back to the garage and pull the shutter door open. You can use the Workbench again if you want. Continue over the fence and head over to the mobile office where you left the two kids earlier to trigger a cutscene and complete this short mission.

The Shortcut

Continue to the flooded part of the city and follow Lev. Once you’ve reached the rapids, continue to the right past the vehicles to find the barber shop. Destroy the window and climb inside. Head to the cash register to find the Nevada Coin.

Next, climb the ledges on the left and climb on the roof of the bus wreck. Look to the left to find a door. Approach the door and wait for Lev to open it from the other side. You’ll find some supplements and crafting materials inside.

From there, sprint-jump to the rock platforms to reach the apartment building across the rapids. Continue upstairs and enter the open apartment unit there. Find the Survivor Plea Artifact on the floor in front of the wrecked door of a small room. Smash the window to reach the fire escape then smash the next window to climb inside the small room behind the wrecked door. Loot the parts, pistol ammo, and other crafting materials inside.

Continue upstairs of the fire escape then climb the ladder to reach the rooftop. Sprint-jump to the overpass bridge below then turn to the left to find some parts by the SUV near the edge. Continue to the other end of the overpass bridge then jump to the balcony of another apartment building.

Smash the glass door and head inside. Head past the table then look for the Neighbor Exchange Artifact on the small table beside the kitchen.

Find some supplements in the bathroom, then enter the bedroom near the balcony to find a safe inside. Use the code 30-23-04 to open it and loot the parts and other supplies inside.

Leave the apartment through the main door then continue upstairs. Pick up the arrows along the way and continue further up to find a ledge that’s connected to the next building. Head to the right first to find some parts behind the generators. Continue to the ledge then drop down to the balcony below.

The next room has several infected inside, including clickers and a shambler. After killing them, check the area for more loot then climb out of the white van and drop down to another section of the rapids below. Make your way to the telecoms shop across the rapids and pick up the Scavenging List Artifact beside a WLF corpse. Pick up the parts from the nearby drawers, and you can also use the Workbench in the far end side of the room.

From the cellphone shop, cross the rapids again towards the next building which will bring you to an optical shop. Check the ledge outside the broken window to find the Colorado Coin near the edge, as shown below. Check the drawers inside the shop for supplements. The coffee shop below only has some crafting materials; to continue your progress, find the double door that leads further up.

Search the upper floor for more materials then cross the broken floors and find the ladder up to more offices. Pick up the parts along the way then continue climbing up through the ruins of what seems to be a data center. Lev will hop across the metal beams so open the door to the left then pick up the Seraphite Truce Artifact on the table.

Regroup with Lev and climb up the long ladder to reach the next floor. There will be a lot of scars that will attack you so stay in cover and watch out for enemies that will attempt to flank you. Finish off the enemies then scour the floor for materials. Continue to the next ladder and continue up to the next section of the building.

The next floor will have the seraphite shrine. Head to the next room to find a Workbench. Check the other corner for some ammo, supplements, parts, and other materials. After using the workbench, take the ladder up to the next section.

There are a lot of enemies littered in this current area. You have to make your way to the highest floor of this section to proceed. The scars are strategically-positioned so it will be hard to pass by them without engaging in a firefight. You can use ladders or climb ledges to reach the upper floors.

Once clear, continue through the double-door. Pick up the supplements, parts, and other items on this floor before boarding the construction elevator. Once done, head to the elevator and close the hatch to start your ascent. Leave the elevator then pick up the Seraphite Orders Artifact pinned on the wall by the doorway along the way.

Finally, keep following Lev in navigating the “sky bridges” until you trigger a cutscene where you both fall to an indoor pool, signalling the start of the next mission.
