How to earn Pioneer EXP and Increase your Pioneer Level

In Wuthering Waves, players are encouraged to explore the various regions of the map to unlock various Challenges, resonance beacons (teleport points), boss locations, collect materials, find loot, and more. As you complete these activities, the exploration progress for that region is increased. The Pioneer Association keeps track of this progress and awards players with various resources and items, including very helpful Utilities that will further improve your exploration progress. In this page, we will quickly cover how to increase your Pioneer Level through exploration.

Pioneer Association

The Pioneer Association is found in the western end of Jinzhou. There's also a resonance beacon nearby that you can use to conveniently access the association's services.

The exploration progress of each region will slowly increase as you perform the following:

• Unlock Resonance Nexus
• Unlock Resonance Beacons
• Solve puzzles
• Complete Challenges
• Open Supply Chests
• Collect and deliver Sonance Caskets
• Hunt and destroy Blolbflies
• Guide Mutterflies

After reaching certain exploration progress thresholds at 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%, you'll earn Pioneer EXP. This EXP is tracked and once you have enough, the Pioneer Level will increase and allow you to collect the rewards associated with it. Zooming out of the map will allow you to see the exploration progress rate of each region.

You'll gain the listed pioneer exp every 20% exploration progress per region listed below.

Rewards Preview

The maximum Pioneer Level you can reach is LV10. It is possible that new Pioneer Association levels will become available as the game adds new nations. You can check the preview of the rewards listed below, including brief explanations on how to use the Utilities that you'll unlock at LV1 to LV3.
