Pokemon Emerald Gym Leaders

Like most other Pokemon Games, there are eight Pokemon Gyms in Pokemon Emerald that you must defeat in order to challenge the Pokemon League. Some of the Gyms have been updated since Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire. The Gym Leaders' Pokemon have also been updated, and there is a new Gym Leader.


Pokemon Emerald Gyms:


First Gym:

The first gym is found in Rustboro City. The Gym Leader is Roxanne, a Rock-Type Pokemon User.

Roxanne - Level 12 Geodude, Level 12 Geodude, and Level 15 Nosepass

After you defeat Roxanne, you'll receive the Stone Badge and TM39 (Rock Tomb).


Second Gym:

The second gym is found in Dewford Town. The Gym Leader is Brawly, a Fighting-Type Pokemon User.

Brawly - Level 16 Meditite, Level 16 Machop, and Level 19 Makuhita

After you defeat Brawly, you'll receive the Knuckle Badge and TM08 (Bulk Up).


Third Gym:

The third gym is found in Mauville City. The Gym Leader is Wattson, an Electric-Type Pokemon User.

Wattson - Level 20 Electrike, Level 20 Voltorb, Level 22 Magneton, and Level 24 Manectric

After you defeat Wattson, you'll receive the Dynamo Badge and TM34 (Shock Wave).


Fourth Gym:

The fourth gym is found in Lavaridge City. The Gym Leader is Flannery, a Fire-Type Pokemon User.

Flannery - Level 24 Numel, Level 24 Slugma, Level 26 Camerupt, and Level 29 Torkoal

After you defeat Flannery, you'll receive the Heat Badge and TM50 (Overheat).


Fifth Gym:

The fifth gym is found in Petalburg City. The Gym Leader is Norman, a Normal-Type Pokemon User.

Norman - Level 27 Vigoroth, Level 27 Spinda, Level 29 Linoone, and Level 31 Slaking

After you defeat Norman, you'll receive the Balance Badge and TM42 (Facade).


Sixth Gym:

The sixth gym is found in Fortree City. The Gym Leader is Winona, a Flying-Type Pokemon User.

Winona - Level 29 Tropius, Level 29 Swablu, Level 30 Pelipper, Level 31 Skarmory, and Level 33 Altaria

After you defeat Winona, you'll receive the Feather Badge and TM40 (Aerial Ace).


Seventh Gym:

The seventh gym is found in Mossdeep City. The Gym Leaders are Tate & Liza, Psychic-Type Pokemon Users.

Tate & Liza - Level 41 Claydol, Level 41 Xatu, Level 42 Solrock, and Level 42 Lunatone

After you defeat Tate & Liza, you'll receive the Mind Badge and TM04 (Calm Mind).


Eighth Gym:

The eighth and final gym is found in Sootopolis City. The Gym Leader is Juan, a Water-Type Pokemon User.

Juan - Level 41 Luvdisc, Level 41 Whiscash, Level 43 Sealeo, Level 43 Crawdaunt, and Level 46 Kingdra

After you defeat Juan, you'll receive the Rain Badge and TM03 (Water Pulse).
