Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD Cheats and Tips

Gather the indicated collectibles as you progress through Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD to unlock the corresonding Technorang or the ending bonus. Note: To get the Techorang's you must bring the required number of Golden Cogs you collect to Julius in his lab at Rainbow Cliffs.

Zoomerang:
Collect 15 Golden Cogs to unlock the Zoomerang.

Multirang:
Collect 30 Golden Cogs to unlock the Multirang.

Infrarang:
Collect 45 Golden Cogs to unlock the Infrarang.

Megarang:
Collect 60 Golden Cogs to unlock the Megarang.

Kaboomerang:
Collect 75 Golden Cogs to unlock the Kaboomerang.

Chronorang:
Collect 90 Golden Cogs to unlock the Chronorang.

Ending Bonus:
When you complete the game with all Golden Cogs, Eggs, and Opals collected for a 100% completion you will unlock a bonus level and an extra FMV sequence after the ending credits.

During gameplay enter the code below to see the locations of hidden Opals, Bilbies, Golden Cogs, Rainbow Scales, and Thunder Eggs. They will be shown with colored lines from the sky (Opals and Rainbow Scales with a green line, Golden Cogs with a gold line, Thunder Eggs with a purple line, and Bilbies with a whitish line). This code will help you considerably in getting all the collectibles.

Collectibles Code:

Note: You will hear a sound effect to confirm correct code entry.

To get the secret Free Crikey! Achievement/trophy you must defeat Crikey the Tiger Shark. In order to defeat this boss you first need to find one of the rafts with food on it and break the container. Then when Crikey is heading over to eat the food have to quickly go into the water and find an oxygen tank which you can easily do by looking for out for bubbles.

Hit the oxygen tank, so it rises to the surface which will attract Crikey who will go to it and begin chewing it. Whilst the oxygen tank is in Crikey's mouth you need to hit it with your Flamerang, so it does damage. Keep repeating until you have defeated Crikey.

Unlock Technorang
During gameplay quickly press L1, R1, L1, R1, Triangle(3), Square, Triangle, Square to unlock the Technorang. The Technorang in Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD is a type of boomerang created by Julius each time Ty brings him a certain number of Golden Cogs at his lab. The different variants of Technorangs Julius can create include the Zoomerang, Multirang, Infrarang, Megarang, Kaboomerang, and Chronorang.
